Incidents are events that potentially result in harm to people, property or the environment and reduces business efficiency. Townsville Airport seeks to minimise occurrence of incidents and to continuously improve through learnings from incidents.

Incidents are often unforeseen, however, Townsville Airport records incidents to help facilitate learnings. Incidents and associated learnings are then reported to a range of internal and external stakeholders to support decision making and ultimately, improve business processes.
