IS THE AIRPORT OPEN 24 HOURS?

Townsville Airport is open from 4:30am to 11:00 pm every day. The terminal is not open 24 hours a day. For security reasons the terminal is in “lock down” between 11:00pm and 4:30am. Passengers and other persons are not permitted to enter the terminal during this time or sleep in the terminal overnight.

ARE THERE ATMS AT TOWNSVILLE AIRPORT?

Yes, there is an ATM which can be found at the southern end of the terminal, near check-in.

HOW DO I FIND OUT IF MY FLIGHT IS DELAYED?

Please contact your airline directly for schedule updates or check our Flight Information Display screens located in the terminal and on our website.

WHAT IS THE WEIGHT LIMIT I CAN TAKE IN MY CARRY-ON LUGGAGE?

Every airline has different weight requirements for carry-on and checked luggage. Please check with the airline you are flying with. This information is often included with your flight itinerary or e-ticket.

WHO CAN I CONTACT ABOUT LOST PROPERTY

If you have left something on board your flight, please contact your airline directly. If you have lost something in the terminal, please contact our Customer Service Officers on 1800 225 878 or 0408 715 500. Customer Service Officers are available seven days per week during airport operating hours.

ARE THERE LOCKERS AT TOWNSVILLE AIRPORT?

Lockers are located at the front of the terminal on Stinson Avenue. Prices vary according to the number of hours required to store your luggage. Please contact Rent A Locker on 1300 955 554 or support@rentalocker.com.au for help or to report an issue.

WHAT CAN I DO BEFORE ARRIVING AT THE AIRPORT IF I HAVE A PASSENGER WITH A DISABILITY?

To request assistance, please contact your airline directly when making a reservation and advise them if you have a passenger with a disability. This will enable the airline to inform you and, where required, make suitable arrangements at the airport or during the flight to assist you.

DOES TOWNSVILLE AIRPORT HAVE FACILITIES THAT SUPPORT PASSENGERS WITH A DISABILITY?

Townsville Airport wants to ensure that our customers with accessibility requirements can travel as comfortably and hassle-free as possible. A Disability Access Facilitation Plan has been produced for Townsville Airport and details the services and facilities available for our passengers with accessibility requirements.

AM I ABLE TO LEAVE LUGGAGE OR KEYS FOR AN INCOMING/OUTGOING PASSENGER TO COLLECT?

Due to security regulations, keys or luggage cannot be left in the terminal for collection by another person. The best option is to hire a locker and advise your friend or family of the code so that they can access your locker.
