The Competition

Townsville Airport is giving you the chance to win a morning of exclusive airside access to photograph aircraft flying in and out of the airport on Wednesday 19 June 2024 with the winner of each age category taking home a $1,000 Camera House voucher.

Submissions Close Sunday 9 June 2024.

Entries

Entries must include an image of an aircraft flying in or out of Townsville Airport. Preference will be given to photos which showcase not only the aircraft, but also the surrounding region. Judges will be looking for creativity, originality and photographers who think outside the (black) box!

On the Day

The top 10 entrants, selected by the Townsville Airport judging panel (comprised of our Aviation and Management team) will gain exclusive airside access and enjoy a morning of photographing aircraft movements at Townsville Airport. Lunch will be supplied.

The Prize

The top 10 successful entrants will submit their top 5 photos taken on the day of the airside visit, to be judged again by the Townsville Airport judging panel with the best photo on the day from both the junior (10-15 years) and 16+ age categories winning a $1,000 Camera House voucher each.
