Townsville Airport closed at 14:00 on Monday 27 March and will reopen for commercial services from Wednesday 29 March at the regular time of 04:30am.

The runway is now open for emergency services or relief efforts as required.

Flight schedules are at the discretion of airlines and passengers due to fly over coming days should check the status of flights directly with their airline.
